Ok first of all the contrast and lighting in these, especially those In the Flesh icons, is striking. Especially in 2, it's so perfect, I keep staring at it because of the gorgeous light and the crop is so wonderful too! the entire row 1-5 is just stunning to look at, with those beautiful muted colors and incredible close crops. and the same goes for 21 and 30!
Then there are those vibrant icons like 16-20, 40, and 41 that are super pretty to look at too. HUGE CONGRATS FOR YOUR WIN! totally deserved too, the coloring in that is spectacular, the cyan/yellow combo is perfect.
annnnnd I'm always a fan of your text mastery and this post has so many super creative amazing ways to use text, i have no idea how you make it work so well in every icon! Some of my favorites are 5, 9, 38, 48 (so creative!) and 49 (this went straight to my inspiration folder when I saw it at the7days... the text is so bold and I love the font and how it overlaps the character). Also, I really love the compositions in 1, 8 and 25!! (wow, I think this might be my favorite of the post actually.. the blocking and colors and text all work so perfectly together and it's such an interesting look), and 39 is all kinds of gorgeous too, I love the colors and text and everything!

I'm really glad you like them, specially some I wasn't really sure about. It amazes me that you like #27 that much, since it almost didn't make the cut. LOL.
And text is my baby and i have so much fun with text!
