Contact? I fought a few and burned them but didn't get injured by them. I've seen enough horror movies, thank you.

Hopefully it's a curse then and not some disease that the zombies were carrying. You could try going to the hospital...? They shouldn't be boarded up anymore with most of the zombies gone...

No urge to kill anyone or maim them. I'll stay away from everyone and go to the hospital if it doesn't go away after tomorrow.

Nor eat brains, hopefully. I've been around the zombies quite a bit now and haven't started rotting yet, so maybe it's not connected to them... I wonder if healing magic might help with this.

I know life magic hurts them back home... I've healed vampires before but never a zombie. That's if whatever-the-heck-this-is is turning people into zombies and isn't some sort of weird gangrene disease...

Thank goodness. Not that it didn't work, but after what you said, I was afraid you might have turned yourself into dust or something!

But it's sounding more and more like a non-contagious curse.
