Muggle Studies isn't the kind of easy O I want.

And why don't you just admit that you're in love with Starla Makenna or something. Instead of taking off points for people who are only voicing their opinions.

They'll get what's coming to them one day once I'm Minister for Magic -- mark my words.

I should hope so. Both on the count of you being Minister of Magic and them getting what's coming to them!

It was Christopher who removed points for insolence, not Cadoc. I am sorry that you view prefects as being so dull and interchangeable that you mistake one for the other. Next to you we can only lack your scope of variety personality-wise.

I am aware that it was Christopher. I know the difference. Not that you all aren't dull and interchangeable. But both Christopher and Cadoc seem to like you for some strange reason.

If only you were literally correct in that! I think that if I COULD switch places with any given Prefect in this school at any given time with little effort and without attracting attention, that would be a rather useful talent to have. As for liking Starla Makenna, that's certainly to be expected. It'd be rather dreadful otherwise, wouldn't you say?

Well of course it's not literal. And I think it's rather dreadful that you like her since she's not likable at all.

I'm housemates, yearmates and, by some random stroke of fate despite my clear lack of aptitude for authoritative positions, fellow Prefects with her. If we were to be at odds all the time, things would be rather miserable for me, considering how much time we spend in each other's company. I don't find it that difficult to get along with her, though. Perhaps we're more accustomed to each other.

Or maybe you just don't mind letting her womanise you.

Does Starla Makenna womanise boys? I wasn't aware that she had such intentions.

Maybe you.

Are you suggesting that Starla Makenna has intentions to womanise me? THAT I am sure is not true. If she had such intentions at all, she can certainly find a worthier target.

She's doing a good job of it.

I'll interpret that as a backhanded compliment towards her for lack of a better way to view it, I guess.

That's not what I meant.

Ah. I'm sorry I misunderstood. What DID you mean?
