So here's the deal: I have more tickets than I can really use for TIFF this year, because I have work & writing that needs to get done as well. I have the following tickets available for FREE if anyone is interested:
VALHALLA RISING - Tues, Sept 15 at 4 pm. Viking goodness! I can snag up to 4 tickets for other people, and will be attending this screening myself.
GET LOW - Wed, Sept 16 at 2 pm. 1 ticket, I won't be there.
http://www.tiff.net/filmsandschedules/films/getlow THE PRIVATE LIVES OF PIPPA LEE - Thurs, Sept 17 at 11:45 a.m. 1 ticket, I won't be there.
http://www.tiff.net/filmsandschedules/films/privatelivesofpippal For both GET LOW and PIPPA LEE, I have the option of swapping these screenings for other daytime screenings, provided those screenings are not: 1. films I already have a ticket for, or 2. already sold out. Let me know what you have in mind and I'll see what I can do (bearing in mind that Saturday is already pretty sold out, although not completely).
To find out what's sold out, click on the "Buy It" icon on any film details page (like the links above). A pop-up window will list all screenings at the festival; anything with a price still listed next to it has available tickets!
I also have a few volunteer vouchers, which can be used to snag advanced tickets for any available film (aside from Galas), so if there's something you want in the evening, let me know & I'll see what I can do.
