Oh no she has fallen
well...as i said to matt...i did something stupid. i decided to skip out of a huge math test to go riding with andrea. we stopped by Timmies, her house, and her farm to check on 'Mr. Vas'. Then twas off to the barn to visit my noble steed.
we were found stumbling along in a muddy paddock, trying to catch my dirt coloured...no dirt covered, horse Charmer. After quite the cleaning job, i found myself on Char moving around the arena, showing aya what i could do. she was rather impressed with the improvement of his movements to my aide. I felt a smile coming on, this horse was making me look great! aya showed me how a little pressure with the knees, leaning into the canter, and having a deep seat can make the difference. oh and she gave the secret of the instant-hunter headset.
Unfortunately, not everything went to plan. riding in the arena with me with whatsherface and her polish Arab, Farah. her horse is a rather solid looking arabian, with a bit of a pudgy look her, complete with a dished out face. quite the gorgeous mover, but rather alert. every little sound, fast movement made her dance and spin. as i was riding char towards the poles, Farah noticed exactly how green the brush box was. Ever so SCARY! She whirled around and ran right into Charmer who flew back. all i remember is flying, grabbing onto the mane, but my fingers slipped through his fine mane...i shouldn;t have trimmed it a week ago. i hit the ground, shoulder then my head and litterally saw stars, just like into those silly cartoons. andrea caught my horse and whatsherfaces rather terrified arab, and i stood up, and stumbled over and got my baby who was rather upset by being rammed. i got back on and finished my ride, andrea coaching me very closely.
then the master got on to ride. the minute Andrea put her foot in the stirrup, char stood at attention. he knew not to fuck around. she rode him over fence after fence, fixing his little problems, control his take off points. she even jumped him over bigger fences and he did wonderfully. I got on after she finished and cooled him out and tried some of the techinques aya used on him. they worked well.
well, even though it's well worth it, i paid a price for this. my head is now at high throbbing, and i keep loosing focus. it is now 7:48, thats how long it took me to write this. sigh.
