Height: short! No one in SE has a canon height, but she's taller than most of the students, but a head shorter than Stein even in heels. Say 5'3"-ish?

Medical Info: She's a witch! Which in Soul Eater is something you're born to, and distinguishable from normal humans, by the soul if not the body. But her body is (probably) over 800 years old and amazingly hard to kill, so there is that. Also it is full of thousands of magical snakes.
Eyes: Yellow
Hair: Dark blond As of July 2009's canon update, black!
Physical traits: Looks like a normal young woman. She has snake tattoos on her arms sometimes - "sometimes" because they aren't actually tattoos, but two of her magical snakes. Usually wears her black hooded witch outfit, or a black dress and a lab coat. See appearance meme for more details.
What's Okay To Mention Around Her: ...Don't spoil the series for her; that would be no fun. Otherwise you should be pretty safe.
Abilities: Medusa is a major villain and a powerful witch, which means she has fairly badass magical powers. However, (IMPORTANT!) most of the time she's going to be using Soul Protect, which camouflages her soul as a normal human by keeping any of her magic power from radiating.
However, while she's using it, she can't use any of her magic. She can, however, use her snakes, which are not precisely spells but instead magical beings that she directs. Mostly, they act less like snakes and more like black strands of energy. She has thousands of them inside her body, and they can come out through her hands, mouth, etc. She's particularly fond of slipping snakes into someone's body unnoticed, which can do a variety of things to them - not least just rip their way out of their body the hard way. They can also attack more directly if necessary. A snake can grow in size (larger than Medusa, even) at which point it looks and acts more like an actual snake - a solid head with eyes and teeth, etc - although it can still do things like... fly.
She'll only release Soul Protect if it comes to a serious battle where her snakes are inadequate, so the above should more than you need in most circumstances. However, once she's released it, her powers can be sensed, and she can also use an array of other spells. For my reference as much as anything:
- Vector Arrow sends a bunch of... arrow... tentacle... things (possibly they're snakes? I don't even know) at her target. They are sharp and fast and hard to block.
- Vector Plate puts a big arrow on the ground (or any flat surface) that propels things above it in the direction it points.
- Vector Boost is a buff spell that doubles power in the direction of the arrow (in canon it goes on someone's fist)
- Vector Conduct uses hidden marks that she leaves to allow selected people to see arrows in the air. (To give directions, for instance.)
ALSO SHE'S HARD TO KILL. Canon is inconvenient for me because I don't really know how Medusa handles damage short of fatal or near-fatal, because she's not shown having amazing regeneration abilities or anything, just... not... dying. WOO.
Notes for the Psychics: For soul/power sensing abilities, see above. For mind-readers: nearly everything Medusa says is insincere. She's an expert at telling people what they want to hear, because she is an evil sociopath who would use her own child as an experiment subject, and she pretty much only cares about people as far as they can be useful to her. \o/
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Let me know, but I am willing to work something out if you are.
Maim/Murder/Death: If this comes up, it would be a serious fight, which means hopefully you'd be talking to me already! I am willing to have Medusa die, but it would take some serious power.
