Do you know what I don’t understand?
Nonsense. That’s what I don’t understand.
It makes no sense to me, but it’s happened twice already. It starts, and it abruptly stops. First,
this person I have never before seen in my life starts speaking to me like he knows me, and he insists that he knows me, continuing to accost me until finally he decides no, he doesn’t know me at all, and it’s all a big mistake, that I happen to have the same name as another friend of his. He then offers to bring me books. Like any other bookworm, I reply, Yes (you rather strange person I have never before seen in my life), books would be lovely. And then? And then he realizes he’s busy, and that’s the end of that.
Then he talks to me again, offering another rather nice prospect, and again abruptly disappears.
I don’t understand any of it at all, but whoever his friend was - the one whose name I share - he must not have liked her very much. (Poor girl.) Everything he says sounds like an interrogation. I can’t shake that feeling, no matter how nice I try to be in return. It’s strange.
Please tell me I’m not the only one who can’t determine how, or under what circumstances, this is considered normal?
That much aside - I’m going to look for Mitsuhide this afternoon, so if I’m not back in time to start dinner, Neville, Ron…well, you’ll know why. He’s somewhere Underground. I know I shouldn’t go (trust me, I didn’t think I ever would, not again), but I can’t stay here knowing he’s all alone. He really shouldn’t be alone right now. Remember me fondly, if I don’t return?
That was a joke. Don’t give me that look, Neville - and yes, I can just see you giving me the look already.

It’s probably rather rude of me to ask, since I haven’t actually met you, but I understand you’re the only one here who knows how to make comfit? It isn’t for me, it’s for a dear friend of mine - Blue. He told me you’re the one to ask.
((OOC: In case you haven’t figured it out, the spell Sarah begged from Neville to erase her nightmares erased her recollection of Jareth entirely, which was definitely not her intent, so…oops? But of course, you all knew he’d find a way to annoy her afresh all over again, whether she remembers him or not. ‘Tis just the way of things. So far, the tally of who knows about the spell gone bad escapes me. By the by, you guessed it, the filter includes everyone except the person being discussed. And no, she's not going to find Mitsu, who's well in hiding, but her conscience won't let her just sit.))
