Oh, you all are adorable! ♥

I was hoping my roommates would turn into something small and furry, but no such luck. Actually, having Professor Snape turn into something small and furry would be the best of all, though even I have a hard time imagining it.So, the slapjack tournament is probably cancelled till further notice - or at least till ( Read more... )

Blue, that's so appropriate! Though not much of a surprise for you, is it?

I used to get called the bluebird by my infantry all the time.

And with good reason. Is it a nickname you've kept, or does it bother you?

Not affected?

No, actually. If you need any help with anything, though, let me know! I can imagine how frustrating it can probably be.

A pity.

This is a form I'm more than used to, Sarah. There's nothing...frustrating about it.

You are? But...how could you be used to it? Has the City done this before?

Not the slightest chance of that.

Professor Snape - you're a bat.

Don't let anyone make you feel bad. I've always thought bats were noble, but misunderstood, creatures.

Obviously this is some poorly thought-out joke about my wardrobe.

I'm in stitches.

But it might not be a joke; your wardrobe is rather elegant. Bat wings can be elegant, too.

I...I'm glad you find it funny?

He is well, as of when I spoke to him over the network earlier today.

[Private to Sarah//Completely Unhackable]

When I first met Mitsuhide, he was very different than the way he is today. The surface personality at that time was nearly obsessed with death, and asked to be killed simply because he wanted to know what it was like to be dead. On several occasions, judging by his network posts, he had killed simply because he felt angry and hallucinated rivers of blood always around him. That dangerous, violent personality still exists, so far as I can tell, and I doubt you have encountered him when he is that way. He seems to switch between the personality I know you know and that one with little warning. I thought you should know this because if you’re going to have him consider you family, it would only be fair to him for you to know of and accept both sides of Mitsuhide.

I'm glad to hear that - he contacted me, too. He's coming over for a game of wolf fetch. I'd say you should come, too, but I don't want you to accidentally get hurt.

[Private to Amanda//Completely Unhackable]

Oh...oh dear. But that's because of the horrors he witnessed. It has to be because of that. And we can hardly blame him.

No, I've never seen him like that. I saw something of it the other night, when we were all trying to convince him to come back with us, and release his wish to kill whoever hurt Waverly. But it wasn't nearly what you've described it to be.

Thank you for telling me. It doesn't change anything - not the way I feel about him, or considering him family - but I appreciate you telling me. He's known more sadness than anyone should have to know. If having us as his family helps him, even the smallest bit, I think he more than deserves it. And he has so much goodness in him - I know he does. He hasn't lost his sense of wonder, of gentleness, no matter what else life may have taken from him.

…good.

I’ve come to a similar conclusion. That goodness, so far as I know, started to resurface when he realized there were people who were going to speak to and care for him despite his past.

I'm glad we're all in agreement.

Were you and Waverly the first to make him feel that way? That sort of unconditional acceptance?
