scene 15

I am NEVER getting curious AGAIN.

((OOC: Give her a day: she'll be curious again. She explored the Underground with Waverly, per a certain recommendation, and ran into some monsters. It was, as Waverly-mun so brilliantly put it, "Like 'Nam, only with more sparklies and spunk." Our brave little heroines are still sparkly and spunky, just...

curiouser and curiouser, i heart my friends!, dark things…?, negative four = do not want, tempting fate, omgwtf??, restlessness, endless curiosity, guilt guilt guilt, what is that??, never ever ever again!

Actually, I found it rather fun. Well, except for the part where I can't aim to save my life - rather literally here.

Once I'm better at aiming maybe we could take Ted down with us; or someone else rather skilled in such things.

You did? I'm so sorry, Waverly...

Everyone has been so nice and has offered to help us out next time, but I'm not entirely sure I want to go again.

They're just worried; which I'm sure they ought to be. It is rather ... well, a death trap down there. Still, you mustn't kill your sense of curiosity just because we were almost killed.

Sometimes the best adventures happen with that as the start. We just need to be better prepared next time.

You don't need to apologize. I wanted to go; and I'll go again whenever you want.

I shouldn't? Then when should I kill it?

Well, that's a very nice, optimistic way of looking at it. I guess you're right, there.

After all of that, we didn't even find what we were looking for. But that being the case, I'm still not sure how I feel about returning.

Never. Curiosity must be cherished.

We could always go down better prepared. Duke did offer to go with us the last time.

Hmm...

If we ever do go again, we'll be incredibly prepared. Everyone has offered to accompany us - Harry, Amanda, Mitsuhide - oh! I meant to tell you! I met Mitsuhide - both of them - but especially the one you've adopted. We decided that if you're his mother, that makes me his aunt!

I think that makes perfect sense. You would make a spectacular aunt.

Really, I don't think we need all that. Ted could probably give us a few things to take care of this and that; and if we bring flash-bangs we should be able to scare them away rather nicely. Though I'm sure Amanda is just as curious as we are.

Thanks!

Amanda says she's working on gathering research, since that part of the City is so unknown. Maybe we could help her with what she's working on.

I think that would be a good idea. Then we don't have to disturb harry. Though, if Thomas wants to come along I don't see why not.

Then at least I won't have to commute to bandage him. ^_^

[ooc: That strike is goooone]

Thomas - he's a connection of Harry's, isn't he? I've heard the name but I have yet to meet him.

For research, I am willing to venture. Honestly, though...it's not something I'm particularly looking forward to. But I believe Amanda can learn lots of things, and that's always good.

Thomas is Harry's brother. He's sweet; though just as stubborn from time to time as Harry is.

Well ... Duke suggested that we try getting hold of this Hatter person over the network.

Think about it this way - haven't you ever wanted to play army?

Maybe it's a family trait? (I say that with love, of course.)

That's a sensible idea.

Um...no, not really...but I can imagine that it's a game that must be somewhat fun?

I believe so; only Thomas is better with it.

Honestly, I think we can manage this well enough.

Really? That's interesting.

Well...you're probably right. Truthfully, I think there is very little that we couldn't manage, properly prepared.

The others just worry too much. Besides, with the way the City is it's best to be prepared for the worst.

Just because some cannot see the good in things doesn't mean we can't.

That does seem to be very true!

I completely agree with you. There's good in everything, if you look hard enough.

[ooc: By the by, should the girls go ahead and invite everyone for the tea, which could be...Saturday afternoon?]
