You know what's strange? Certain visits to the library, that's what's strange. Not that the act of visiting the library is ever strange, but when you've spent the entire summer doing much less reading than you thought you would, and you choose a book, and it ends up being entirely not what you expected

I have to admit, I think I love it, though. I really do. It's like the entire library is a moving puzzle.

No, I do think it's interesting. I just think that's a changeable word for that kind of thing.

Oh, great. I hope he didn't regale you with Sarah Horror Stories - despite whatever he may have said, I am relatively normal, and I can cook without burning anything.

Just as long as you're not the person who told him girls like naked and wrinkly gnomes as pets, I think I can take your word for it.

Ice cream instantly improves just about anything.

That was definitely not me; I think gnomes are much better company with clothes.

I think books might have a little trouble with it.

From what he's told me, so do I.

Yes, but considering how often the library takes its humor out on us, I think we're entitled to snicker at it - softly, of course. But still a snicker.

You've not been around gnomes before?

I can get behind that.

No, I haven't. They aren't what you'd call common in my world.

They aren't in mine, either. I've actually never seen a gnome outside of books - dwarves, yes, but gnomes, no. Clothes are always appreciated, though.
