[Sarah is humming under her breath as she approaches the TARDIS, and there is a bounce in her step that could only be accounted for as the anticipation of something magical. It was her birthday, and after all, you only turned sixteen once. She hadn't quite believed the disclaimer that this dinner just happened to be on her birthday, that it was

[Once she found an open chance to talk to the birthday girl, the ten-year-old skips up to Sarah with her hands hidden innocently behind her back. She's definitely not shy, even if this would be their first meeting.]

Hello~! Happy birthday, Sarah!

(ooc: She was invited by Rose :3)

[And Sarah can't help but grin at the beyond adorable little girl she's heard so much about. Since she's not shy, either, she immediately leans forward and gives her a hug.]

Thank you, that's so sweet!

[Her face flushes slightly. She didn't expect a hug, but she giggles, happily returning the hug with one arm. She's hiding something in her other hand...]

Mii~, I have a present for you...

[She pulls back and holds out a folded piece of paper from behind her back.]

But, I'll only give it to you if you promise not to ha-ha laugh, okay?

Oh, Rika, just you coming tonight is a wonderful present.

[Smiling conspiratorily, as though the two of them share a secret, Sarah kneels down and whispers.]

I promise, cross my heart.

[smilenipaa]

[She nods her head and bounces excitedly on the heels of her feet. She eagerly unfolds the piece of paper and holds it near Sarah's face, as though her little drawing were a secret as well.]

I drew a princess and her unicorn. There's a kitty cat too, because I like mew-mews. I hope you like them too.

[Inside the folded paper is a childish drawing done in colored pencils with glitter sprinkled over it. Rika's no famous artist, but it looks like she took the time to make sure everything was colored in and pretty.]

I put lots of sparkle-sparkle. Rose said you like glittery things.

[Sarah literally gasps, her eyes aglow, and she reaches her hand out slowly, gently]

Oh, Rika...Rika, this is perfect! I just love unicorns - they're my very favorite animal, and the kitty cat is precious. Rose was right, I do love glittery things, and looking at this...

[She looks up to grin at her]

It makes me wish I was the princess in the drawing!

[smilenipaa]

[Looking over her masterpiece present, Rika places one finger on her lower lip thoughtfully]

Hm, mii~... I know, I know, ni-paa!

[An idea dawns upon her and she beams happily, bouncing up and down once more]

Let's name the princess Sarah!

Okay! Princess Sarah. [She giggles a little] I think that sounds very nice.

[And because Rika is so cute, and Sarah really can't help it, she stands up once more and catches hold of one of Rika's little hands, twirling her playfully]

I love it, it's beautiful, I can't thank you enough!

[smilenipaa]

Waa~ I'm going to get dizzy-dizzy!

[Though she says this, Rika allows herself to be twirled. She laughs happily, Sarah's behavior vaguely reminding her of a good friend from home]

[Sarah stops when Rika says this, appearing to be thinking about this very seriously.]

Oh.

[So then the logical thing to do, of course, is spin Rika in the other direction! Which she does.]

[smilenipaa]

[Rika lets out a giggle, which is quickly cut off when she starts spinning again] Huh-- heeeeeeey~!

No faiiiiiir! You should go spin-spin too!

[She makes a whiney voice, but her smile shows she's obviously enjoying all the twirling]

[Of course, Sarah simply has to stop again and think about this deeply - it's a very serious matter. She purses her lips and holds one finger up to them.]

You know, you're right. It isn't fair.

[Then, breaking into a smile again...]

Okay, one more time!

[Holding out both her hands, she takes both of Rika's and they can spin together, giggling all the way.]

[smilenipaa]

Huh? I have to go agaiiiin~?

[And Rika spins some more, but this time with Sarah. Fortunately for her, the older girl is holding onto her to keep her from falling on her bottom.]

Waaaaa~ but I'm really super dizzy-dizzy now, Sarah!

[She can't help but keep on giggling with her new friend]

[And so their twirling stops with a dramatic flourish! Sarah plops down into the closest chair she sees, her fluffy white dress spreading out around her. She pulls Rika down with her, still giggling.]

What are you supposed to do to stop feeling super dizzy? Should I go get something to drink?

[smilenipaa]

[Shaking her head, Rika hops down from her seat. She turns to Sarah, holding one hand up in front of her]

Rika shall get the drink for the birthday girl!

[She stares quietly for a moment]

The room is still spinny-spinny...

[Sarah pats the spot next to her invitingly]

Maybe we should wait a little bit, then try to get the drinks.
