Book club?

I'm glad you asked - I had meant to tell Waverly and forgot. I have a feeling it's something she'd like, too.

But yes - a book club. Rose, Artemis and I have been reading together lately and thought we ought to keep it up. You should join us, Mat!

[ooc: No worries!]

Reading together? Is that what a book club is?

[ooc: Guess who still has no idea what she's talking about~]

But that's not all of it - there are discussions, cookies, tea, and maybe even a few debates. It's just fantastic. You really have to come next time we all get together. I was just talking with Rose about what books we should read this summer.

[ooc: Hmm! Let me think. Really hard. XD]

The boy isn't very fond of me...

He's Misi. That's how he shows affection.

Misi? Is that his nickname?

And I doubt he's showing affection.

Oh yes, it is.

Are you kidding? That's exactly how he shows affection. He's said before he considers Rose his adopted mother and myself his older sister, and he still manages to post video footage that embarrasses us to death, hack into our accounts, and be generally obtrusive. And at the end of the day, we still love him. I don't know how it works, but it does.

...Why did I just say all of that?

...That makes no sense at all.

No, after living with him for a short time I can fully believe that he and his bodyguard do not approve of me.

And you're probably cursed.

It doesn't, does it? But that's Misi.

That's probably a good sign. Misi generally disapproves of things he later finds he does like, even if he never admits it. Ice cream. The Smurfs. Dating.

I don't know what ice cream or the Smurfs are...and I only just learned what dating is. But, he's very intelligent. A man in a boy's body. It's bloody impressive.

...Do you have a TV in your apartment, Mat?

Don't bother telling him that, though. He already knows. Trust me.

Yes. I don't know how the bloody thing works though. Usually I just watch movies with Waverly on it and she works it.

I noticed. Most brilliant people are like that though. Or skilled people too. If they are good then they know they are.

Okay, next time you come over or whenever I go there, I'll show you how it works.

Have you ever read Jane Austen before, Mat?

I rarely watch it but if you'd like.

No. Right now, I'm reading Shakespeare plays that were recommended to be during the curse.

The stuff we talk about might seem a little more familiar if you did watch it.

Oh, which ones?
