like the card says, our opening is this friday from 5-8 at the brick box (a seriously cool space, especially for rutland) on center street in the thrilling city of rutland, vermont.
the show will feature a slightly awkward but hopefully compelling union of my photographs (past and present -
http://tinycog.net) and my mother's drawings. other fun pieces include: my mother's environmentally-themed interactive installation, my mixed media installation (80 self portraits in nylon-covered boxes hanging from the ceiling - my brainchild, financed and partially produced with my mom's help), and maybe a conceptual video projection (if i can get a certain mr. lindale to help me work the required looping DVD magic)
rutland is a two hour drive from northampton, so i do not expect my MA friends to attend. however, if you are interested, let me know and i'll give you directions. it's a pretty straightforward trip.
here's a few shots from monday's show-hanging:
installation (mine)
(excuse the clutter, it won't be there during the opening)
come, and bring your rich friends (or at least, bring their wallets).
