(no subject)
So here I am at my new apartment!! I'm loving it!! I've been here for a week and a day so far. At first it was really exciting because we were moving in and all, then it got boring because there was no internet and no one was around, and now it's starting to get fun because people are finally starting to come back!
I can start subbing any day now...as soon as BOCES finally puts me on the sub list thing. They're sucking at that....even after I called and bugged them about it a few times.
I applied to lots of jewelry places in the mall....but I doubt I'll get to work at any of them because 1) they want people with business degrees (to work in the mall...yeah, whatever) and 2) they like old people. OH well. So, I also applied to waitress and/or bartend at Applebees and Red Lobster. I also applied to this cute little cafe on Park Ave and its new location in Pittsford Plaza. So, hopefully I'll be called soon because I'm getting so bored with nothing to do and I need to start making some money!
Jolie came back to Rochester yesterday...yay! The three of us made tacos for dinner and then went out to Daily Perks, a coffee shop in the city that was having open mic night. Then we came back and just hung out.
I am loving 2006 so far. I have a new mind set. I'm happier. And I'm not looking back...anymore...at all. Only looking ahead from here!
