I'm going to take fandom to mean shows I would consider doing something fannish in rather than fandoms I'm actually active in.

01. What fandoms did you acquire in 2007?
A lot, too many for my sanity. Jericho, Pushing Daisies, Journeyman, Life, Women's Murder Club, Bionic Woman, Moonlight, Damages and Dirt and Drive.

02. What fandoms did you let go of in 2007?
Veronica Mars. Season 3 killed my love for the show and I just couldn't bring myself to care when it was axed.
4400. The wait between seasons was so huge that I couldn't follow it properly and now it's gone and I don't think i'll miss it. I'll get my crazy messiah fix from Giaus Baltar and let go of my unhealthy attachment to Jordan Collier.
I haven't actually made the decision to stop watching anything so I guess I'm too loyal or lazy to ditch failing shows.

03. What fandoms did you mean to get into but didn't in 2007?
Dexter. I know everyone loves it but I just can't get past the grossness of it. I still haven't jumped on the SGA bandwagon and I don't suppose I'm ever likely to. I've tried several times but Farscape still won't click with me and I think I concede defeat. I'm sure Friday Night lights is brilliant but American football, urgh.

04. What fandoms do you intend to check out in 2008?
Sarah Conner Chronicles is the only one that springs to mind but I'm sure there will be more. also I must get round to watching Birds of Prey which has been sitting on my hard drive for 12 months.

05. What fandoms do you think you might let go of unless things significantly improve in 2008?
Heroes for sure. I nearly dropped it weeks back but I'm hanging in there by the skin of my teeth.
Women's Murder Club, the title was oh so promising but something really needs to happen. It really is quite dull.
Supernatural, I'm definitely not loving this season. It's just gore now rather than chilling.
House. It's definitely on the wane. I still love the main character but that's about it. For God's sake give Cuddy something to do!

06. What fandoms do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
Bionic Woman because the crappiness is the whole point.
Lost. I still want answers. It annoys the hell out of me but I still forgive its failings.

07. What show impressed you most in 2007?
BSG, Damages, Journeyman and Life and I love Pushing Daisies but the narration is beginning to grate just a little. I will miss Journeyman hugely it was that rare thing, a show where I actually liked all the main characters.
