Oh, this is so lovely and so nostalgic. The emotion builds up so beautifully and I got all sniffly at the last freeze frame. And I just love the little push-ins you put all the way through. :D

The Sound Of Music is just one of those movies that can evoke nostalgia no matter how familiar you are with it. Musicals generally, I think. Good job I am over my Doris Day crush otherwise I might really embarrass myself.

Thank you, Nicky!

This movie is timeless and wonderful as far as I'm concerned, so to see it vidded is a joy no matter what, but I love how your song choice injects a modern energy -- and you use the "tiny dancer" motif so well!

I did feel I was being a little sacrilegious even trying to make this vid. I'm glad it was a gamble that paid off.

Thanks.

I can't say anything enlightening about it because it is a vid to The Sound of Music and thus is automatically made of win. The fact that it has a brilliantly unexpected song choice (seriously, I never thought I'd see "The Sound of Music" and "Club Vivid" in the same header) and wonderful editing just makes it even better and more utterly fantastically brilliant. Loved it, watched it twice and now going back to it again.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. The song choice really seems to have paid off.
