uhhhh
Hi. Today was fairly interesting I guess. I was working from about 10-5. Would've gone up earlier but my mom was like blah blah blah and yeah. She was putting around the house all morning. I was up at 7, and dressed and ready to leave by 8. I'd be on my way to Maine right now if Robert wasn't sick. Me, my aunt and uncle don't exactly plan in advance that well. I was going to just go up there with them tonight because they're coming back down in the morning so it would make some sense but Robert is going to be rollerblading tonight and he's pretty sick too. So, I'm here. Alone and bored out of my freaking mind. Uh, yeah. I learned a lot of electrical stuff today. It was fun, sort of. My uncle actually let me hold a live wire, the end of it so I wouldn't get zapped but he couldn't let it go in the wall because then I'd be the one to fish it out with my luck. So we were up there and we were trying to figure out the thermostat and then my uncle was getting frusterated and me/my aunt were complaining that we were hungry so we left and went to get a bite to eat before he killed it. So then we went to eat and Jeff (the carpenter) liked my mom's pork pie. *nasty look* better him than me. Then we were helping Jeff with the doors on the house and then we went back to the thermostat. Before that, the Testa's got home and Brenda got suckered into getting another kitten! HAHAHA!! I like thier cat though, its awesome. One of the only cats that I like, besides Shadow and Shannon. That's it. I don't usually care for cats. Uhhh then we went up to Jim and Shelly's. We were doing some plumbing up there. I was being a gopher and climbing in the back of my uncle's truck looking for tools and screws and boxes and yeah it was fun. I hit my head so many times, the ladder fell on my leg, it kinda hurt. Then i got scraped by a nail. It friggin hurt too. Suprisingly it only ripped my pants and not much skin. :) that's a plus. Uh then we turned the water off and he had me get under the sink and put the blue pipe through one spot and the red pipe another. Then the white one had to go through the last one, it was fun. Then he almost let the sink fall on my head. That would've hurt, then I had to guide the hoses in so that they wouldn't get a kink in them. It wasn't a very fun job. Then my mom walked up the stairs and she's like "Uh oh, Charity's laying down on the job again!" and my uncle's like "yup, that she is!" haha it was awesome. Then he went downstairs and told me to stay up, so I did. Then he yelled that he wanted pliers or something so I ended up running down the two flights of stairs again. It was fun. Then I had to put everything back in the truck. Except for the plumbing stuff because we left that all where it was because he has to buy some new stuff for it. Yay! Ok, then we stopped at the Testa's again and picked up the trailer. That was ... yeah. Then we went to my house and picked up the trash on our lawn, and put the ladder in the garage. Then uh, we uh ooh put the trailer out back. But I had to guide him so he wouldn't hit the deck because he didn't want to even though he's building a new one (yes we're getting yet another new deck) in the spring. It's gonna be a lot bigger and yeah, ahhhhhhh! I think they're having it put on before July so that they can have EVEN more people and I can't have the excuse that there's no place for them. Ahhhh! noooooooo! Ok, so then he was unhooking the trailer and we were on a slight hill and it didn't look all that safe so I stood off to the side a little bit, and the trailer rolled right in front of me i was like *wide eyed* and my uncle's just like "omg omg omg" i'm like "i'm fine!!" he's like "holy shit... i was trying to hold it" i'm like "i was out of the way" he's like "thank god someone has common sense or one of us wouldnt be here!" so then after our little heart poudingness we went back to the Testa's again. Finished cleaning up there, saw the cat again. Cloudy is its name. Its a cute cat but yeah. Uh then we went back up to Jim's for some "ice" and we were there for a little bit and they mentioned something about me going to Maine with them so then i'm like "I WANNA GO TO MAINE!" and yeah I almost did but then they're like "no one will be there tonight and robert's sick" so i'm like ok... so then my uncle payed me, made $30. Not bad for not doing all that much. In my opinion. Me and my aunt carried a sink up the stairs, that was heavy. It weighed probably about 50lbs and I was pushing it up the stairs so I had a good portion of the weight and the box kept ripping so I had all of it at times which sucked if I didn't have my balance. I came close to death a few times today! HOly crap! OH well didn't die so its not a big deal :) Then we came home, and my uncle gave me a "bottle of Brande" I'm like uhhh ok. Then I took it in the house and I'm like "that's a pretty heavy bottle of liquor" and then we went upstairs and looked at it and it was all dimes and nickels. Its like 274 dollars or something. So my uncle just called and told me I'd go up sometime soon, probably next weekend. We're doing the roof if we have nice weather. It's going to be ... Uncle Russell, Aunt Mary, Uncle Bob, Jeff, Bobo, Robert, Jon, me, my dad, Mikey, my mom, and probably Aunt Sue. We actually have a full crew! Wahoo!! my mom, Aunt Mary and Aunt Sue will be the cooks/gophers. Jon will probably be carrying everything up the ladders for the rest of us who will be on the roof. It's gonna be some characters. Wow... yeah. My uncle also said something about other stuff but I can't remember. I'm going to be helping him again tomorrow. We have to finish putting a light in the Testa's house. And do some other little stuff around. Then we're going up to Jim's to finish the plumbing if they get the stuff tonight or in the morning. Then we're going to Concord to do some other stuff that I'm not sure what I'm getting myself into yet. I probably won't have my phone on me because it distracts me a little too much. I tried calling Lil today and he was at the movies with his brother and he said he'd either send me a text or call but he didn't. So yeah... oh well. Haven't heard from Mandy or tried getting in touch with her at all. And I'm extremely tired and have some crap in my eye, probably cardboard stuff. Yay. Robert will be down tomorrow to help and so will Jon! Yay, i don't have to be all three anymore. I was holding (at one point) a drill with a long bit, regular screwdriver, pouch of other tools, screws, a bucket, a thermostat cover and then he asked me to hold a flashlight. I'm like "With my 7th or 9th hand?" and he looked back and he's like "uhhh give that that that and that to her.. put that here and go run for this" i'm like AHHHHHHHHHHH Jeff was laughing at me too. He has quite the accent, its awesome. I had a nice conversation with him and then me and Aunt Mary were talking because we always do. She's like "How's Mandy?" i'm like "she's good, last day of driver's ed today" so then we got on that subject then a little while later she asked if her and Travis were still together and how long it had been and that kinda stuff. She's like "WOW... thats a while huh!?" i'm like "uh huh" then my uncle came back and we left yet again. My hands are freezing from loading all the crap into the trailers so many times. My uncle left two houses "Lawn ornaments" today. His new and improved trailer that is going to have all his tools ORGANIZED in it so then I don't have to get scraped, cut, and bruised as much. My hands are gonna have some callouses tomorrow and then they're just going to be made worse! Yay! Go me! I haven't eaten supper, that's why I'm so friggin hungry. Ok... well... I think I'm gonna go and like play RollerCoaster Tycoon or call someone or read another book. Or eat and then fall asleep. Whatever one seems to work out first. My uncle's a weirdo! yay! I'm listening to Creed's Greatest Hits. Its pretty good. OOOOH and the house across the street from the Testa's was playing some GOOD music so that made loading the trailer and clean up pretty worthy. So, I'm gonna go now and try to get some sleep... and... eat... and read... and play games... and.... yeah.... dunno what else... so... yea... see ya!
