Gourd, I can imagine the veggie that looks like a freak of nature, misshapen, ugly yet beautiful, colourful and always have a unique value of its own. And apparently, people clamor to own one or two or a dozen to make Halloween and Thanksgiving realistic and truthful in its observance and celebration! :)
