Acceptance
I am stubborn to a fault. Saying that I am slow to accept change doesn't begin to scratch the surface.
I am having to wrap up my projects now that I have given notice of my resignation and my last day of work has been set. I need the projects. Adjustments in my personal life and my fandoms are not sitting well with me. Read: I refuse to accept that I have to move apartments and that my fave detective is not going to be on my fave show anymore.
So, dive head first into denial and distraction. I am writing furiously -- fan fiction and other fiction. I am reading anything I can get my hands on, including a bio of Martha Stewart to be followed by more like this new bio from Joanna Lumley:
