The World Sings Together
I just came across this video because a friend showed me it. Apparently, this guy, Eric Whitacre, is a composer/conductor, who started a project to get people all over the world to sing one song that he conducted. So he recorded himself conducting and over 200,000 people sent in video recordings of themselves singing from soprano to bass.
This is amazing because it really shows how one can actually bring together the world through the internet. People who signed up for this said various things, like how one woman had thought that she was so bad that she couldn't be part of a choir and after doing this project, was able to. People who didn't know each other formed choirs in their local areas.
It's just awesome.
