i think i was always meant to be a rock star
Have you ever played Rock Band one or two? You Must.
It's the most addictive game I've come across in a long time. At a party last night, someone had it set up and while I had had grand plans of karaoke, dancing and perhaps a movie, it was all laid to waste the moment I picked up that wireless guitar. The colored buttons, the strum button and the colored lights got to me. I was hooked.
The first few songs I kind of just stood there, staring hard at the screen and repeating to myself 1 = green, 2 = red, 3 = yellow and barely moving or hearing the people next to me. But as the hours passed by, I started grooving to the beat, maybe shaking my head in a rock-starish fashion and moved up from Easy to Medium.
I've found my calling :)
On another note, I don't drink but I do have fun pretending I do just so I can have an excuse for any outrageous behavior at parties. It's an assumed thing that I'm drunk when everyone else is around you.
