It might have been industrial.. I'm not good with genres, but we listened to

Razed in Black (Awesome, and hott!)

I'm not good with genres either. I can tell industrial from techno usually, though, because industrial is heavier. if techno is pop punk, then industrial is heavy metal. but I don't know the differences between techno, electro, electronica, electroclash, dance, etc.. They all use synthesizers, so I call them all techno.

I've never hear of Razed in Black. I'll have to check them out.

if you like industrial, you should listen to KMFDM. they fucking ROCK!
if you like techno-y stuff, get the CD "Electroclash." It's a compilation. I love it to death. it's my favorite CD in the world.

they are like the epitome of industrial. I think they practically created the genre or something. if you get one of their CDs or download a song from them, the CDs Symbols and Nihil are both AWESOME.
