I should update you on some new developments. heidi8 has announced publicly that she has confirmed that Msscribe was Sporkify, and that Msscribe lied to her about that. Also, ari_o has emailed angua9 and given her a link to a website showing the name and phone number of the police officer that she says Msscribe told her was the person who investigated her case

This comment is going to focus on her hospitalization. I come from a family heavy in medicine; therefore, the stated problem caught my attention. I have done some /light/ research and discovered that the condition she referred to have is not likely to have developed /quickly/ from an accident. Perhaps, I misread and it occurred a day or so later after an accident. Anyways, it is a type of swelling in the brain of fluid in a part that has been injured, including bacterial infections and cancer. It is also a type of brain tumor. The problem itself, if treated quickly as it seemed to be in this case, can be reversed before too much more damage is done with a steroid treatment to reduce the fluid build up. This leads me to speculate, if she had any actual weakness, it was the cause of the swelling and not the swelling itself. Recovering for any type of brain damage involves more than cognitive excerices if it has impacted actual movement and muscle control. The only correct thing from my research is that the swelling, hell any swelling or damage to the brain, can be potentially fatal.

Oh, and no I don't follow HP fandom.

Interesting info, but you do remember the dates incorrectly--

"msscribe began writing Harry Potter Fanfiction after a bad car accident resulted in her suffering a traumatic head injury" (from Clarabell's posting re: msscribe's alleged collapse and hospitalization, March 23, 2003)

Since msscribe appeared on the fandom scene in late December 2002, we can presume the alleged accident occurred prior to that--making the time between alleged accident and alleged collapse greater than three months.
