Today was one of those days that are so fucking great, and then in between the moments of greatness slip sadness. But mostly great. Ha. Besides having an awesome time at Steve's last night, I slept over Mike and Molly's in the North End so I could sleep in and just walk to work. Woke up famously and left there with an hour to spare. There's this little tiny shop on their street thats an antique/vintage store and its ALWAYS CLOSED. And i ALWAYS wanna go in because i see like gorgeous vintage jewelry there. Well, this morning it was open. Went in and immediatley found an adorable vintage purse (the kind with the clasp to close it, the kind that clicks) for 10 bucks.
So it was gorgeous weather, people were out, walked through haymarket just completely enjoying all the sounds of vendors shouting and the smells of the fruits and vegetables. And I was going to go to H+M to buy like a t shirt for work since i wasnt wearing dress code. Found this HOTT + T halter dress that looks right outta the 50's, thats pink, red, orange and yellow polka dots. $19.50! snatched that shit up.
It seemed the wave of downer came on the way home from work. I've been ignoring Jack's phone calls. Everytime he calls and im there to hear his call i can;t pick up the phone. I don't know I just don't think it can work. So it was gorgeous when i got off the T, cooled off a bit and people were out in my neighborhood eating on patios at restaurants, playng catch. But no one was home at my apt :(
BUT then Me, Leah, Molly and ken went to TGI Fridays for some fun alcoholic drinks that didnt taste like they had alcohol in them. JUNE BUG! Good convo, went to Krispy Kreme after, where the man who had been tagging along behind us (singing some inaudible song) snuck up next to me in line, mumbled something and put his head on my shoulder and when i realized that it wasn't KEN who was doing that, i freaked out.
Just certain things. Like the way the trees are all of a sudden full now, the breeze and way it gently makes my flowy skirt flap in the wind. Its all very nice and romantic like. Everyone who has it, please, PLEASE recognize it and enjoy it.
