The videostore down the street is gone.

Once upon a time there lived a man. He was a sad sort of guy. He had a video store, named Beacon Video Stop. It was a tiny little store that had an odor of the unpleasant sort. In it the man worked every day and every night. He could have possibly lived with his mother, and knew every movie known to man.

He was a kind man also. Whenever a dame (for example ME) rented a video from him, even if the video was oh, lets say over a week late, he would waive the late fees the first time. And even the second time he split the difference when the late fee was also high. Even though the dame knew this could not be good for business, she greatly appreciated him, and looked forward to conversation with him upon each visit. This was not, however, a romantic interest.

One day recently, this dame was traveling far and wide back to her manor. While on her Mass transit carriage ride home, she felt weary. She closed her eyes and allowed the rocking of the vessel to lull her. When she opened her eyes as she approached her stop, she opened them to find a beautiful bright blue eyed chubby cheeked baby looking directly at her. This was a glorious thing. She felt as if this baby was looking into her, and she felt happy. And she felt a great need to be a mother, although she is definitely too young. She felt that this was a good sign of her day to come.

She decided to visit her old friend at the Beacon Video Stop and as she approached she noticed it looked rather empty. And upon further inspection she noticed her friend was nowhere to be found. Two chinese people had invaded the haven and gutted it of all the wonderful cinema dreams she had hoped to take part in. She was extremely saddened for her friend wondering where he was and how he was feeling. The street felt colder, and she felt alone. And when she returned home her key to her castle did not work- she was locked out. Luckily a fairy god-neighbor saved her and let her in, but this was surely a sign it was to be a bad day.

The videostore down the street is gone.
