Peace and love
to everyone--all of my loved ones, all of my friends. My family. The really cute guy who smiles when he gives me my coffee.
I hope no one reading this has loved ones in Boston, or if they do that those loved ones are safe and sound.
My love to anyone who might read this, whether they share a love with me, or with mutual friends, or mutual shows of affection, or... Well. I'm feeling a great commitment to thumbing my nose at violence and saying "Peace," and loving how so many of us are so connected together, like it or not, fight it or not, disagree on anything and everything... or not.
That's why I love my country. I just wish that we displayed some of these higher and more compassionate aspects of ourselves on a regular basis, rather than only when an emergency strikes.
