I was driving home from work tonight, so I was listening to Disturbed's 'Believe' as it was intended (ie VERY loudly). Its FINALLY monsoon season here (we needed the water uber badly) and the lightning seemed to really like the song. The lightning and thunder was in beat with the song. It was unbelievably amazing!
Then I was passing through this field where I could see both cells of the storm, and they both seemed to dance (thats the only way I can describe it) to the song. I almost pulled over to watch. It was magickal!
Those are the kind of moments in which I feel so right in my skin being Pagan. In those moments, I wonder how other people dont seen how amazing beautiful the world is and want to worship it.
Today, I just feel so good in my skin. I feel magickal and connected to the Earth. I feel like I used to at Pagan festivals: like a fairy or some other natural creature, frockling in the flowers and dancing between rain drops.
I think I might go outside and watch the wonderfully beautiful storm tonight. Its a show for Her children, we might as well be grateful and watch it.
