Sooo I was in my musical theatre class for zero hour this morning and we were rehearsing for our chrismas show when there is an announcement for everyone to evacuate the building...I thought it was just like a fire drill till I got outside and remembered that it was before school. Sooo being the smart person I am I left all my books and stuff besides my purse inside.
So we were all like sitting on the track and then more teachers and students came out and were like pushing us back to the fence and then onto the street and like under the townlake bridge...so we are now technically off campus and a friend of mine tried to park her car and they told her to either turn around and go home or park and get as far away from the building as possible.
I just left because they were like telling us to. So I went to Seattles Best and got coffee with some friends and stuff...pretty fun...it turns out there was a bomb threat though....so my mom let me stay home...because when they finally started letting people back in the school everyone told me that there were only like 300 or less students there out of our usual 3000 students and that all the teachers were just telling kids to go home and were not doing anything.
The office said that everyone who wasn't there was going to be unexcused but the teachers were like apparently protesting to let them be excused. I dunno I came home and then went to lunch and went shopping..I would say thats a pretty good trade for school. Bomb threat days (when they are just false alarms) can be pretty fun, not gonna lie.
