Don't you hate it when an accident happens and your mom just rubs it in and then if u have a sibling that just rubs it in that your in trouble.
Yeah, me too. So here is how it went...
Yesturday i was at my friends house taking pictures and goofing around and i accidently dropped my camera! It scared me at first but i didn't think there was any real damage done to my camera so i wasn't too worried. Until i realized it had cracked the inside of the screan so that you can 't like see any of your pics. Soo i was like in tears cause i knew how much my parents had put into this camera andi was sooo thrilled to get it. So in tears i call my mom and explain what happened and hear is how the convo goes.
Me: (talking through tears) Mom i was taking a picture with my camera and i dropped it and it broke and i don't know what to do.
Mom: Charlotte don't play a joke like that
Me: MOm i am not joking i really think its broken
Mom: Well charlotte that was alot of money and i don't think your responsible enough for a camera and we are not buying you a new one.
Me: Mom but it was an Accident i could have dropped anything
Mom: We are going to have a long talk abouut responsibility when we get home
Me: Mom i am sixteen you have given me this talk 7 times now
Mom: well it doesn't seem to have worked
Me: How does dropping a camera which was an accident and accidents happen have to do with responsibitlity
Mom: It is being responsible for your things charlotte
Me: Ugh mom does it have a waranty
Mom: i dunno if i bought it and trust me you will be buying yourself your next camera
Me: I know you have already told me that ok i gtg bye
Mom: bye
When i got home the next day mom was like we don't have a waranty but we will see if we can talk to the manager. I am actually really grateful for this.
Ok so you guys know i am a klutz so i kinda tripped down the hall and it my sisters foot. Well she ha charlotte ouch i was like sorry and she goes you fell on me just like you dropped that expensive camera mom gave you. Are you sure your not kidding cause your in big trouble. I was like look and i showed her the camera. Then my mom gave me the lecture on responsibility that she promised and ended up making me sit there and watch her demonstrate how to hold a camera! uuuh sometimes i hate my life. Just do me a favor just pray that the manager has a kind heart and works with us!
