Very proud aunty Jude here.My clever little nephew  Scott has just WON the Indy 500.We were late for work this morning.Had to stay to listen to the result,just a shame we couldn't watch.Have been trying all morning to get hold of Ron,but no joy yet.Will keep on trying.Just realised I need a decent photo of him.

Thank you.We are on such a high at the moment.Not a lot of work has been done in the shop today,but boy are we going to have some celebratory drinkies tonight.

Holy crap! That's awesome! I had no idea you even had any association with the Indy 500, too. When I saw this post and the other one (with Indy Milk) I thought you were talking about the new Indiana Jones movie! I was more than a little surprised when I read the two posts! :)

Thanks.This has been such an amazing day.We couldn't see the race this morning,cause we don't have VHF TV reception where we live,and the radio coverage was virtually non existant,so we had to wait to catch updates on breakfast tv,and of course the race didn't finish till about half an hour after we should have left for work.Had barely got into work when we had reporters from the local newspaper here to do an interview.very cringe making,cause I do not have my photo taken as a rule.Sorry,I'm rabbiting,but I am still on such a high.Shutting early tonight to get home in time to see the news and celebrate in style.Drinkies all round on me.
