Christmas Eve

Better late than never,  here is a short summary of how I spent my Christmas.

In the morning of Christmas eve I finally felt better after a week of my influenza.
My sister woke up about the same time as me, my mom had a morning shift and were at work, while my brothers, as always, slept until noon.
We started of the special day with breakfast while watching "Home Alone", one of my favorites Xmas movies. After that we did various things while awaiting the afternoon.  At precisely 15.00 we watched "Donald Ducks Christmas show", a special Disney show  airing every year. Although I have been watching it since I was born, it is just a MUST watch for me, a special Christmas tradition.

After the show we sat down and ate some delicious Christmas food. There is of course some traditional food to eat, like a big buffet. After being away from Sweden for 9months, the simply potato was one of the tastiest thing for me, followed by Christmas cheese, Salmon, pie etc.

With our stomach full moved into one of the best traditions of Christmas = Opening presents time!
I got some great things this year A nice sweater, Christmas candy, a cooking book, earrings etc.

Those are of course stuff my mom bought me, and the finest of all things was a lovely Christmas village that can lit up and play music. It was also the only thing I had wished for, so really happy for it. From my sister I got some Manga artist pencils in different colors and from my brothers gave me a brand new iphone.

All overly happy by everything I got, I just wanted to play with it all (like a kid, but instead all five of us played a game called "Alias". In the game you get one word, which you have to explain for your teammates without actually saying the word.

The evening went by fast, and before I knew it Christmas Eve, the day I had been looking forward to so much, was over in the blink of an eye. A bit sad, but it was surely a day of great joy and without any regrets ^_____^

Ps. Now that I have finally written about this, I will hurry to write about New Years Eve next

eve, christmas, family
