Anniversary Party
Come celebrate with us!
Food, drinks, music
Everyone welcome!
Somehow, Metody had been put in charge of decorating.  This was why the Loft looked like a florist's shop had exploded on it.

Brass and copper vases marched along the edge of each wall, holding tall arrangements of reeds, sunflowers and massive brown feathers.  The balcony and the front of the bar were draped in swags of leafy grapevine and shimmering fairy lights, with massive clusters of sunflowers and daisies wherever the vine gathered up.  There was a broad copper dish of pebbles, antlers that must have come from dog-sized deer, and soft green moss on every table, and little woven-straw ornaments hung from every possible spot.

And there was food as well - both standard party fare, and more esoteric things, starting with sushi and ending with lidded and opaque cups marked as containing blood.  Everything was labeled, with separateareas for vegetarian, kosher and non-human foods.  Off to one side was a cake.  It would look like a wedding cake if it weren't decorated in a gold and brown brocade of sculpted icing.  Because Metody knew his friends, it was surrounded by a low, lacy fencing of interwoven bone.

Metody stood beside Hans, dressed tastefully for once in a black suit and jade green shirt.  He was crowned in ivy, and clutching a fistful of golden ribbons that led to a cluster of four cats.  Two were black, and not at all happy at being on harnesses, and the third was gray and eyeing up the decorations for chewing potential.  The last cat's mood couldn't really be determined - it was nothing more than a skeleton.  It sat down, bony hips clicking on the floor, and opened its mouth in a silent yawn or meow.
