The obvious seasonal question...

"So let's hear it. What will you be for Halloween this year?"

A grumpy yet still fabulous man is offering a very judgmental look while he waits for the answer.

I'm still deciding whether to go as the scary girl from the Ring series, or to go as Death from the Sandman series.

Eww... Really? You could be anything you want for one night and these are what you choose?

More of convenience, really.

But if I could go as anything I wanted, whoa boy. I would go as a Disney Princess (Tiana) or as someone from "Avatar the Last Airbender". Maybe I'd go as Toph Bei Fong (I have the height, the hair, and the wit)

Lazy.

I have no idea what most of your costume ideas are. The only ones I recognize are the princess and the Ring character.

You have every end of the spectrum considered for this holiday...

The better for flexibility. I'm still not sure what sort of Halloween parties I'll be invited to this year---I can't go as that version of Death to a party hosted by my kid nephew and my sister-in-law.

I'm having the same problem -- but what can you do when you're popular? Wardrobe changes are inevitable.

The problem is that Generic Dead Character #1 is so cliche. No one will actually know you're the woman from Ring because it has been so overdone.

True, but it's at least foolproof.

At the rate this is going, I'm going to end up getting dressed as Toph. The Disney Princess thing is attractive but awkward.

And if you have multiple parties then you can take pieces from that costume and make another. Be Toph for the first and then... something creepy and weird for the second. Then you can fill your foolproof dead-thing needs.

Yes, that should work. Considering that this year I may have more than one party to attend.

Best of luck with your own costuming efforts.

I already have them picked out~

I just need to somehow purchase a whole mass of fake tattoos or else find some artistic person to draw them on. And the second will be easy if I can find the time to go over and buy it.
