Trick or Treat
The Loft is decorated seasonally, with cheerful carved pumpkins and paper lanterns in black and orange. The squid tank even has a grinning skull decoration for the occasion. On the counter, the Lady sets a basket, an arrangement of cookies, candy treats, balls of popcorn, and caramel apples. She is expecting trick-or-treaters to come in, and hopes to give them an extra little surprise this year.
In front of the basket she places a sign:
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
