1. Who are the NPCs / supporting cast members in your character's life? (if you don't have any, feel free to invent some now!)
Alexa has:
Spike, her stepbrother
Mira, her best friend from college
Paolo, Marta and Chela - The family of caretakers
Ash has a student assistant who he abuses terribly.
Roma has a bodyguard named Cat.
Cody has the most NPC's:
Her first husband, George.
Her son, James.
Orson, a bodyguard.
Lisette, her security chief.
Steff, her boy toy/assistant
Vett, her co-pilot in Boukun
Opal, her housekeeper
Tina, her secretary in Boukun
2. How much detail do you put into them?
Quite a bit, actually. They are often an integral part of a plot.
3. Do you choose PBs for your NPCs?
Always. I can't fully flesh them out without being able to "see" them in my head.
4. Do they ever have their own stories / speaking roles?
Quite often. James, especially, has been the focus of many storylines.
5. What roles do the NPCs play in storylines involving your character?
They are vital. They are bodyguards, friends, family, employees and always there for some sort of part in the events that happen.
6. Has an NPC or supporting cast member ever stolen the show and become one of your main characters?
*chuckle* Oh, yes, indeed. Roma was never intended to be a main character. Ash was an NPC, until he got uppity and decided he had to have his own journal.
7. Have you ever killed off an NPC to support a plot or storyline? How did it work out?
Yes. James was doomed from day one, and his death is something that changes Cody forever, and affects her future relationships.
