Saturday Night Fever--That Dance Prompt.
Damn. Its been fucking ages since I've gone dancing. Severas used to have a few of the best rave/goth clubs I've ever been to. Well...not that I had the chance to really go to any other clubs in Serenville. Suburbian bedroom communities tend not to lend too much to any sort of subculture.
Back when going to a club-any club in Severas-didn't mean putting yourself on the menue and the evening didn't mean having a set a fangs plunge themselves into one of your major arteries, I went as often as I could get. If I was jonsing to get my stomp on, just about anything could get me on the dance floor. Just as long as it had a good beat, anything infected me. I'd be on the dance floor from the moment I got there to the time they kicked us out.
1. & 10--Mindless Self Indulgence Never Wanted To Dance. Ye-ah. This is my theme. MIS is just...well, they hit the nail right on the GD head, dude. Its on the playlist twice because I couldn't decide which version I liked better.
2. --Concrete Blonde Bloodletting. You can't go into a goth club routinely and not hear this played. You can't. Seriously.
3.--Filter & The Crystal Method Trip Like I Do. Spawn, baby. Its a great song to hear when your rolling. Y'know...uh, not that I did any of that shit...*ahem*
4. --Lo Fidelity All Stars Battleflag. I dare you to listen to this and not want to dance. I mean. Seriously. How can you not want to get up and stomp around to this?
5. --Zeromancer Dr. Online. Dude, this is just fun as hell. Well--not that suicide is fun..its just. Its infectious dammit! The song, I mean, not suicide. I actually had the song's recorded prompt as my voice mail greeting. Until Landis made me change it.
6. --Origa Inner Universe. Its just pretty.
7. --Covenant Death Star. This is the music that really got me out there, even if I didn't feel like it. Never failed.
8. --Wolfsheim Once In A Life Time. Its sooo emo. Haha! Nah, I dated a girl who always danced to this. And GOD could she move!!
9. --HIM Wings Of A Butterfly. Good guitar riffs in this. I'm not a huge fan of HIM to start out with, he's a bit more pretentious than I'd like to be bothered with, but, again, I blame a girl I dated for this one.
