[If you had to (to save the world perhaps! or if someone twisted your arm a little!) -- Which canon character would you start writing for? Which original one would you create? Which old character would you revive? Why? -
Monday 12/22/14]
1. I think I'd like to write Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Which, really... is kind of redundant, as he rarely says anything. Conversely, I love how fast Eleven can just go, but I have no real knack for capturing his voice. Mostly, I'd just like someone who could fit into a game, somewhere, and not be grossly OOC, but also be themselves.
2. I'm not sure on this question.. I have plenty of OCs I've created but not really -written-; but I also have plenty of OCs I've written but haven't -played- If the first, there's a character I came up with, born from a random RP conversation, who might be interesting. At least to me. That story could easily cap NaNo, if I put forth the effort. For the second, I created an OC back in college - before I even knew OCs were a thing, mind you - for the Potterverse. On occasion, she pops in to say hi, but I'm not sure there's much story there to be told. Maybe my Walt Disney World security guard? or my AU!Rhode Island gal, who's entire backstory is in mid-rewrite...
3. I have a bad habit of creating LJs for characters, but no one at sixwordstories wants to talk to them, really, so they just sort of fizzled. My first thought is my high schooler, madrosehatter, just because she's still got a story to be told; otherwise Root (the_right_size). He's a Sprite, but he's not really got a market. (unless there's a market for preschool-age characters I don't know about?) Actually.. probably Rick & Mel (startin_fires) or Connor (dr_connor_nih).
Or I could just start doing things with all the characters I have. Maybe. Or not. :p
