Canon: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass
Words: 114 (Alice’s letter is 100 words, however!)
{{OOC: First of all, I’ve been away from RP for far too long. Well, only two years but it seems like ages! I’ve now started playing Pathfinder (it’s rather like D&D, really), but my Alice!muse has been clamouring to be let out again. I’ve decided I really ought to do so & this is how I’m planning on continuing with Alice. Do tell me if this sounds OOC or not quite up-to-period-I may be a bit rusty.
Also, I really do want to try to get my Wonderland museboxy comm started (I’d got it set up right before my hiatus but it never really got began as I didn’t get any response on the comms I’d advertised it on. It’s over at 6thngsbreakfast if anyone has any Wonderland muses! }}
Dearest Father & Mother,
Many apologies for writing instead of telling you beforehand, but I do believe this is the best way to explain things.
I know I’m something of a disappointment & I have sincerely tried not to be, but the truth is that I’ve not felt I belong here for some time. As such, I’ve decided to leave Oxford.
Do tell Lorina & Ada that I’ve gone & tell Rosie her Aunt Alice is after more stories. I will miss you dearly.
(A letter placed in the willow’s knot will find its way to Wonderland.)
