Twosday Giving & Receiving and Wednesday Leisure
Talk about a time you gave, and a time you received.
Well, this year, I gave Alice a new set of pencils, a new sketchbook -- and a little sharpening knife that was made to look like her Vorpal Blade. I couldn't resist. She quite liked it, I'm happy to say -- I was worried she'd think I was making fun of her favorite weapon. As for receiving, Marty gave me a new pair of full-fingered gloves. It's a much-appreciated present, I assure you -- the pair I had was the fingerless kind that's popular around here. Good for handling things, but not quite as good at keeping your hands warm. And it does get cold here in winter.

What can I say? I do love to draw. I also love to play music, but drawing is the one I do most often these days. I can't pop into Dr. Finklestein's and ask to use his piano EVERY day, after all.
