I’d say my anchor is my childhood home. It’s a little oasis of calm in my often chaotic life. The center of my whirling universe. No matter what happens, no matter where I go, no matter what I do - I know I can always go back there. That the door is open if I need it. I may love bouncing around from place to place without a care, but - it’s nice having a place that I can always call home.
You know, I haven’t been back in a while. But Hanukkah starts in just two days, so. . .time to get that flight!
