You know what I find interesting? That checks aren’t quite obsolete yet. Or paper money. Almost everybody these days is using credit cards to pay for stuff. Yet stuff like checks and dollar bills are managing to hang in there. I can see the value with paper money and coins - sometimes, it’s easier just to pull out some cash. But checks? I always thought they’d disappear when plastic took over. I guess their main value lies in being easier to mail than money, when you absolutely have to do that. I wonder if we’ll ever go to completely paperless currency.
