Inspired by the exercises here, your writing challenge for today is to describe how one of your character's supporting cast views your character. Is this in agreement with how your character views him/herself? Radically different?

For bonus points, write a short scene in the POV of the supporting cast member detailing an interaction with your main character.

If anyone were to ask Loki what he thinks of Farley, the first words out his mouth would likely be "soft-hearted fool", though he can't bring himself to make it a proper insult. Quite frankly, he's amazed that Farley can still be compassionate to his friends and family after Shiwan and Chicago, never mind to someone who probably doesn't deserve it (meaning him.) If he judges him, it's for his actions, rather than who his father is (or, rather, isn't), and even then, he makes the point clear the first time around.

He's a stubborn one, sometimes, but Loki appreciates the challenge, especially since he doesn't immediately dismiss his arguments out of hand or go "shut up, your ideas suck", the way it feels like it's always been with Thor and the others (though it may not necessarily have been the case.) Yes, they argue, though Farley tries to be reasonable about it when it happens, but it feels more constructive now, and he occasionally makes a good point.

What amuses him most about Farley is how he's been through the Roaring '20s and still can be so amusingly straight-laced at times, his future-influenced tastes in music and clothing and not-so-furtive glances in his direction aside. Sometimes he wonders just what it would take to cut those laces...
