I used to carry one of these:
A Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snub. Then Shiwan happened. Now, for the most part, I keep it hidden. It'll probably only come out if I'm feeling really paranoid.
I also still have this:
See above, re: paranoid. Though I suspect I'll have a hard time of not coming up with any non-musical way to hide it...
For the most part, though, I try not to carry much on me, except for my wand, and the combat knife I scrapped from the angel-demon battle back in Chicago.
Oh, and this:
Pain in the ass to figure out, let me tell you.
All in all, this should give you a decent idea of what I consider serious paranoia.
(OOC: The guns come from IMFDb, and the hidden blade design comes from the Assassin's Creed wiki. Funny story - I was trying to come up with Farley's middle name, so I fed it in a name generator, which gave me Remington. For some reason, it seemed to fit, so that's what I went with. Only later did I remember that Remington is also the name of a company that produces guns and ammunition - and Farley is described in the novelization as specializing in munitions and engineering. Unintentionally meaningful name, anyone?)
