To me, ambition is something that is constantly desired by anyone who has aspirations for the future. We seek ambition to accomplish some task we hope to accomplish, but in the end most never seem to be able to keep a hold of it long enough to reach out and grab what they really want. Adversely, those who are able to clench ambition into their metal fists and plunge it into the skies, can achieve great feats of accomplishment and even soar as high as the big wigs. What keeps most from holding on to ambition? Why can’t the little man soar high too? Is it some inherent gene or make of the mind that repels us from the golden snitch of ambition, or are we simply looking at this all from the wrong perspective. Should we seek ambition as something just hiding around the corner, just waiting to be found? Perhaps instead of seeing it as out of reach, we should push ourselves harder and in accomplishing all of the hard work that comes with it, realize that ambition has been with us all along.

Welcome to the community. For clarification, all prompt answers should be posted as posts TO the community, not as replies to the prompt post. Also, if it isn't clear, all answers to prompts (except Munday prompts) should be in character.
