(bendytime for my character -- but he's been dying to know since they last talked...) dainty_ofcourse January 5 2011, 18:28:00 UTC
How is your brother/son/uncle/partner/friend/person that wasn't feeling well? Everyone doing better?

My partner. And he's doing better lately it seems. It's kind of like a roller-coaster though, good days and bad, you know?

How are you doing?

I'm Mark. Nice to meet you, Senri.

And yeah, I know about the normal grind. Like clockwork, right?

Likewise~

At least four times a year, heh. Just when you think you're done something else follows right up behind it. What is it you do?

That's right. There's always something.

I have a psychology practice and do some non-profit work by running youth centers, one in Brooklyn and one in Jersey so far.

What about you, Senri?

Good grief, no wonder you were so stressed. Hopefully you have a wonderful assistant to juggle your life for you, heh.

I am a designer. I own a label and manage a partnering line.

Yeah, I'm just starting my practice up again next Monday. Had to take a break. But we had a Christmas party for the centers and those took a lot of work. It was worth it though. Some of those kids never get presents.

Oh my husband would love you. He loves fashion.

Ah, so lucky to be able to close down when you need to -- shows go on and stores run out of supply whether I'm ready or not. Though I know that owning your own business means that even when you're not working... you're working. So there's that.

But aw, I bet the Christmas party was fun. When do you sleep? As it is I need a constant supply of caffeine and support to get through my weeks.

Everyone should love me. I am highly lovable. Fashion as well. There's no way our combination could be anything but successful~

Yeah, I have a laptop and cell phone with me at all times. And the kids at the centers know they can call me when they need to. In fact, that's how I got my son and one of my daughters.

Time management is key.

You do seem highly lovable. I'm usually a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy so Thackery usually buys me anything that isn't that. How long have you been in the industry?

Ah, you have kids and a partner... I should move to America.

Time management and caffeine, then.

At least you're getting help~ It's getting to where I have to jump my guy and wrangle him into presentable clothing. And how long have I been in, hmm...? Let's see, at twelve I "redesigned" a few key pieces in my sister's closet, two years ago I got hired by my working partner, and last March I put on my first show. ...So anywhere from 1 to 13 years, depending on how you measure things.

You? Did you always want to be a philanthropic psychologist?

Yeah, a partner. We say husband but we just live together and adopted. Someday it'll be legal. Where are you from?

Caffeine too. You're already in my head.

We'll go with 13. I bet that was exciting though, putting on your first show.

I used to wanna play football but I think the psych part was always in me. When the football thing didn't work out, I went with the next thing I was good at... helping people. The center just started this last year. I got inspired and everything went from there.

"Just live together and adopted". That's a pretty big deal, actually. I'm in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.

A smart caring athlete, hmm~? Got to love well-rounded individuals.
