Prompt: Tuesday - What two things are you going to try this year that you've never done before?

As I've always been one who enjoys trying new things, I find it amusing that I had trouble answering this question. After all, two things shouldn't be nearly so difficult to employ in a years time. However, I've come to a point in my life where it is seldom that I encounter something that I've never tried at least once. In light of much consideration I did finally decide upon two things to try. One is to learn and master the rules of that game Commander Riker occasionally enjoys. It's called Anbo-jyutsu, I believe. The second is to try more foods from other cultures. Not that I haven't had my fair share, believe me I have. But in more recent times I do tend to turn my nose up at the sight of certain things without even tasting them. I think I'm older and already know what I will like and what I will not. But that is no reason to pre-judge the culinary delights of those who share the great frontier of space with us.
Here's to another year of exploration and the ever ongoing quest for knowledge.
