It's a new year, shiny and clean. What two things are you going to try this year that you've never done before?
1. Finish all my school work on time. I know, I know. What is this girl talking about, right? Fininshing school work on time? Lame. Well, for me it isn't. Through grade school, and now through college I have been procrastinating on my school work like crazy. I mean, to the point where I am postponing what's due that is already late. So in 2011, I will attempt to complete all my assignments on time in which I will possibly recieve straight A's, and then maybe, just maybe I will regaiin a social life throughout the semester.
2. Go out to the bars on weekends. 2011 is the year I turn 21. I have 24 more days until I turn 21 to be exact, and so by turning the age of a legal adult, I am hoping to get out more and try new things. Like going to bars, for example. All my life, every time I've wanted to hang out with a friend, we'd have three choices of places to go: the movies, the mall, or my house. Even now that I am twenty, these choices seem to be the only ones we have (with the exception of going out to lunch or dinner) and it is just time for a change. I am hoping that by going out with a few friends to a few bars, it expands my social life and right now my social life feels pretty slim to none. I wanna go out, have a drink, have a good time, meet new people, and not be home by ten o'clock on a saturday night. Hmmmm, only time will tell.
