Prompt: Thursday - Today, give us a drabble about a Learning Experience. Positive, negative, or entirely unclassifiable up to you.
Muse: Jean-Luc Picard
Fandom: Star Trek: The Next Generation
Word Count: 100

Rarely was there a dull moment in the frontier of space. By nature the vast unknown was filled with detours, pitfalls and wonderful experiences alike that rarely left a person a moment of peaceful, self-assured serenity. It could even be true of a life of less adventure, of those normal everyday lives on the colonized planets near Earth and Earth itself. Throughout his life, Jean-Luc had come to expect and even demand learning something new each and everyday. Such was the heart of an explorer, always seeking knowledge, mystery, intrigue and adventure; never quite settled and always wanting something more.
