Though it's a song about being in love, I like Chris Isaac's "Wicked Game". Of course, it has a fair share of covers. The artist list is fairly diverse, but most of the covers sound more similar than one would expect.
A few notes: Giant Drag, Bassboosa, and Carly Christenson's versions are sang by girls. HIM's version is a little more heavy on guitar. Black Cat Rebellion's adds percussion. That's Incentive's has no vocals. Also, I know there are many, many more covers of this song out there, but most of them aren't so different.
