Have I ever made a major sacrifice for anyone?
I don't think so. It's not that I'm spoiled, it's just never really come up. Sacrifice, to me, would mean to give up something I really wanted for someone else to get something they really wanted or needed. I haven't lived long enough for that situation to manifest.
Tell us about a sacrifice someone else made for me?
My dad. He made a major sacrifice in his life.
I was an unplanned child. My mom and dad had no plans, hadn't finished college, and were having problems finding jobs that would let them support us all. My mom moved in with her parents - and my dad joined the Navy as a corpsman shortly before I turned 1. He served in Desert Storm in early 1991, though I don't remember that. I kind of remember the day he came home.
He gave up four years of his life for this, so that my family could survive.
